Chanel vintage Spring Summer 1963 Haute Couture pink and black dress and jacket suit. Numbered under the main label. Pink boucle wool and black silk with gold metal lion head buttons. The same design can be found in the Costume Insititue collection at the Metropolitan Museum in NYC and the original 1963 Chanel photo is shown for archival reference. Jacket is straight-cut, has French cuffs, chain on interior hem, vertical quilt top-stitching and 1 interior pocket. Dress has a back side metal zipper, pleated silk bodice with bows, and attaches to tweed skirt with snap closures. Dress waist is 25", hip is 39", measurement across bust is 37", shoulder to hem is 44". Jacket measures 38" at bust, 39" hip, 15.5" shoulders, 22" sleeve, 23.5" back neck seam to hem. Excellent previously owned / previously worn drycleaned condition.Ā
